我的爸爸呀，简直是个“周末睡神”！

Saturdays and Sundays are my dad’s favorite days to catch some serious Zzzs. As soon as Friday night rolls around, it’s like a switch flips. He’ll finish dinner, maybe watch a little TV, and then, poof! He’s off to dreamland.

Mornings? Forget about it. While I’m bouncing around, ready to start the day, he’s still nestled under his duvet, snoring softly. Sometimes I try to wake him up for a game, but it’s like trying to move a mountain. He just grumbles a bit and pulls the covers tighter.

In the afternoon, it’s more of the same. He’ll find a comfy spot on the sofa, or even just a patch of sunlight on the floor, and before you know it, he’s fast asleep again. I’ve tried building LEGO forts around him, and he just sleeps right through it!

I know he works hard during the week, so maybe he really needs his rest. But sometimes, I just wish he’d wake up and play with me for a bit on the weekend. Maybe he'll surprise me one day and be my super-duper awake dad for a whole afternoon!
